I am a Canadian user. How do I verify my account?

If you are a Canadian user, you must verify your account using a dual check system, which verifies both your identification and banking information.
Both verification processes are required! This is a mandatory requirement set by the Canadian Government.

STANDARD VERIFICATION
To begin the process of verifying please log into your SolidTrust Pay account, a page may appear asking for you to Instantly verify your identity! Please be advised that this process is completed by a third-party provider.
If you do not see this upon log in, go to
My Account and select INSTANT ID Verification
You will be prompted with several fields to review and ensure they are correct before proceeding. Your Social Insurance Number will be required.

**NOTE: This option can only be used twice**

BANK VERIFICATION
To verify your bank account, please go to Banks & Cards and select New Bank Account.
Please be advised that this process is completed by a third-party provider.
Please select CLICK TO BEGIN
You should be redirected to a page where you will select or search your banking institution and be redirected to log into your online bank account.

Once Both procedures have been completed your account will be Bank Verified.

If your account is not upgraded upon completion of both instant verification processes, more information may be required. This can be reviewed under My Account > View Profile.

HELPFUL ADVICE

1. If the identification portion of the duel check system was successful, your account will show as Standard Verified.
To complete the Bank Verification in this case, a PDF file of the bank statement and void check for the bank account you are wanting to verify will be required.

2. If the bank verification process was successful but the identification process was not successful, your account status will still show as Active status as you cannot be upgraded to bank verified status without first being standard verified (which requires successful ID verification).

To proceed with verification in this case, a PDF document of a recent bill or bank statement will need to be submitted.

3. If the instant identification and instant bank verification were not successful, your account will still show as Active status.
There will be an Attestation of Identification form that will be required to be submitted to proceed with Verification.

In the event you do not complete the dual check system, an Attestation of Identification form will be required for verification, or the account will remain at the Active status.

Any other documents submitted for verification that differentiate above sent from Canadian users are not accepted for verification purposes.
Documents can be accepted to update account information.
